USL - Nu Owners Meeting at Nike Inc.
A new era kicked off for the United Soccer Leagues First Division on 4 November in Beaverton, Oregon at the headquarters of Nike and Umbro (Nike Inc.),
Owners of USL-1 clubs, including Beswicks Sports and Premier Partnerships and USL management gathered to chart a new direction for the flagship professional league that included expansion, international affiliations and corporate opportunities.
The Beswicks Sports team, represented by Tim Bailey, were invited by the new owners of the league Nu Rock Soccer Holdings to the meeting at Nike Inc. world headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.
Team owners, league management and strategic partners were engaged in lively and constructive debate over future plans for the league.
