Winter move to Tasmania for Beswicks client - Rana Naved-ul-Hasan
Beswicks client Rana Naved-ul-Hasan completed a Christmas move to Tasmania to compete in the Australian Big Bash 20/20 competition.
The 31-year-old pace bowler signed on Christmas Eve in time for the competition where he has already started strongly.
Rana made the headlines on New Years Day, as he was awarded man of the match in Tasmania’s victory over Western Australia. After smashing 47 runs off 28 balls he then followed up with three wickets and two run-outs to cap an outstanding display.
Darren Long who concluded the deal with Tasmania coach and former Australia Test batsman David Boon said: “It is a brilliant opportunity for Rana and he is loving it in Australia. Hopefully he will make a big impression in Tasmania and give them an edge to go far in the competition.”
