Umbro donates 150 footballs to Senegalese children

Umbro has donated 150 footballs to Stoke City player and Senegalese International, Salif Diao's various football projects in Senegal.

Salif set up his UK charity - Sport4Charity - in order to bring together sporting celebrities to help raise funds for a wide range of charitable projects in the EU and Africa.

Tin Bailey, sports lawyer at Beswicks, who advised Salif on the incorporation and development of Sport4Charity, commented "This is a very generous offer by Umbro.  These children in Senegal lead very difficult lives and have limited access to schooling and sport, and often have to travel long distances if they want an education.  The arrival of these balls will hopefully inspire these young people to pursue their sporting dreams and have a positive impact on their lives."
