Burnley retain Martin Paterson on new 3-year deal

Clarets striker and Beswicks client, Martin Paterson has signed an improved contract at Turf Moor, despite having 2 years remaining on his current deal.

Burnley manager, Brian Laws was happy to reward the 23 year old Northern Ireland international with a new offer that ties him to Turf Moor until 2013.

Gary Mellor of Beswicks Sports commented "Martin has a great future ahead of him.   Burnley believe that he is an essential member of their squad and will help them move back into the Premier League."
