Triple Transfers
Beswicks were busy again on transfer loan deadline day with three football clients making moves.
Gifton Noel Williams led the way with a move from Burnley to Championship rivals and immediately made an impact with his new club when he scored on his debut in the Seagulls 1-1 draw with Luton Town.
Youngster Kevin O’Connor is primed for his first taste of League action after the Republic of Ireland under-21 midfielder moved from Wolves to Stockport County just minutes before the 5pm deadline. Kevin went straight into the squad for the Hatters game at Torquay but unfortunately the match was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Nottingham Forest’s young midfielder Jamie Beaumont is also looking forward to making his League debut following a move to Darlington. Jamie trialled with the League Two side at the start of the year and manager Dave Hodgson has come back for the skilful midfielder to help him make a final push for the play-offs.
